Job description
POLYFRAME is a leading-edge business, providing complete PVCu window profile solutions to a network of suppliers and installers across the UK and Southern Ireland. Polyframe has ambitious plans for future growth. Part of a group that includes Customade Group Ltd, Virtuoso Doors, and Stevenswood we are expanding and operate from our manufacturing facility based in Lenwade.
Summary:
We are looking for Facilities and Maintenance support within the business, to maintain the quality of our facilities, repairs, and maintenance work across the site
Key Duties of the role:
- Painting and decoration, Floor tile replacement
- Tap repairs/replacement, W/C repair/replacement
- Wall and Floor tiling
- Wastewater pipe replacement/trap replacement
- Door/Lock repair/Replacement
- Lighting lamp replacements
- Gutter cleaning
- Whiteboard/notice board installation/removal
- General office moves/re-layout work
- General small building works as required (concrete bases etc)
- Monthly emergency lighting checks
- Monthly legionella checks, Fire Alarm testing, Contractor control
Key Skills and Experience:
- Wide range of experience across all aspects of facilities maintenance
- Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor you will be highly motivated to work both on your own, and as part of our Maintenance team
- You will possess excellent communication skills to communicate with the team and internal customers at all levels
- Any formal training for any facilities trades would be advantageous, but an experienced DIY’er with lots of hands-on experience is essential
What we offer:
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000pa
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday 39 hours (7am-3.30pm
Location: Norwich, Lenwade
