NHS Grampian is looking for caring and enthusiastic Health Care Support Workers to join our teams in Aberdeen City.
We offer a range of different workplaces in adult inpatients settings within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Woodend Hospital and Rosewell House.
Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) are essential members of multidisciplinary care delivery and deliver exceptional person centred and compassionate care for a diverse city population. They play a vital role in protecting patients from harm and valuing all aspect of equality and diversity in the care delivery setting.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working in health and social care or have previous carer experience or similar transferable skills, will be a great team player and communicator with the ability to support people according to their changing health and wellbeing needs. You will be supervised and supported by senior staff.
We are evolving our education programme. All new staff will undertake comprehensive mentorship and support with clinical development.
In order to allow us to easily place candidates in our available positions we will require you to have a flexible approach to working. Hours will be full time and will include shift work which is a combination of working days, nights and weekends, depending on the requirements of the clinical area you are working in.
Following interview, all successful candidates will be placed in the Talent Pool and will be matched to the next available position.
