This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the heart of University administration within a Professional Service. Research Services provide support for Oxford’s research, engagement and innovation activities. We work closely with researchers, departments and divisions, other professional services and a wide range of external collaborators and funders.
The Admin and Finance Team, based in Wellington Square, deliver cross cutting operational and business management support to ensure the effective running of Research Services across the four business teams. We are a friendly, busy and supportive team and this would be an ideal opportunity for someone to gain and develop their experience across a wide range of administrative support activities.

About the role
Working closely with the HR and Finance Specialist and as part of your portfolio management, you will provide dedicated support for your business teams; looking after HR including recruitment and transactional finance activity.
You will support the Head of Administration and Finance on estate management as well as participating in the organisation of other activities such as planning events or wellbeing sessions.
Full training will be provided and there will be opportunities to continue your development as part of the role.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a can-do, flexible and enthusiastic attitude to take on diverse tasks. You should have an interest in learning and demonstrable enthusiasm for organisation and efficiency, and will be able to communicate effectively.
