The Role
November 2022 saw Brayleys open its first Honda motorcycle dealership alongside its existing flagship Honda passenger car dealership on the busy Southend Arterial Road in Romford.
In preparation for this exciting development of our business we are seeking to recruit a team of motorcycle sales executives to work as part of our dedicated motorcycle sales unit.

To be successful in this role, you will certainly need to have previous experience as a motorcycle sales executive, but what other skills and experience would be good?
Whilst brand experience is preferred, it isn’t essential. In addition to your experience, you will demonstrate the following core skills:
- Influencing skills with the ability to nurture and convert enquiries to sales
- Excellent customer management skills to build long lasting relationships
- Professionalism, with a commitment to adhering to process and procedure
- A valid motorcycle license would be beneficial but is not essential for the role
- Someone who can demonstrate the Brayleys Company Principal to treat every visitor to Brayleys Cars as we would a welcome guest in our own home.
When the dealership is open what does a typical day involve?
- Respond to enquiries from new and existing customers relating to new and used Honda motorcycle sales
- Guide customers through their purchase, providing outstanding customer service as the face of both Brayleys and our partner motorcycle brands.
- Meet individual sales targets by maximising upsell and cross-sell opportunities on finance and insurance products and optional extras
- Assist in ensuring a steady flow of enquiries from multiple channels through prospecting and marketing
- Maintain a specialist knowledge of manufacturer motorcycles and options, participating in regular knowledge updates
- Manage the motorcycle handover process, ensuring compliance with all processes.
- Adhere to Brayleys and industry regulations relating to the sale of motorcycles, finance, and insurance.
Is training provided?
We invest in you from day one. Newly recruited Sales Executives attend a suite of training courses delivered by leading trainers and our own team, whether they have previous car sales experience or are brand new to the industry. This suite of courses provides an insight to the psychology of sales and sets you up to succeed. Sales Executives also complete manufacturer training to ensure their knowledge of products and options is kept up to date.

With 285 members of the team across 17 dealerships, opportunities for progression frequently arise. In fact, many of our current departmental managers entered Brayleys in similar sales executive roles and have developed in their career while remaining in the business.
