We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Enterprise IT Asset Governance and Risk Management to join Cybersecurity Risk Insights department with the Schwab Cybersecurity Services organization within Schwab. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the building of the strategy, planning, and execution of hardware and software asset risk management and governance across the organization, with a focus on reducing cybersecurity risk associated with unmanaged assets. What you have

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise IT asset risk management and governance strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives and focuses on reducing cybersecurity risk presented by unmanaged hardware and software assets.
• Govern the lifecycle management of all IT assets, from procurement to retirement, ensuring that the organization's hardware and software assets are properly managed and associated to specific infrastructure or applications and recorded in our IT Asset Management systems.
• Implement and maintain standards and procedures for IT asset governance and risk management, including inventory management, rouge asset handling, escalation and incident handling with a focus on managing cybersecurity risks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT Asset Management, Public Cloud, Issue Management, Enterprise, and Solution Architecture, and Cybersecurity, to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and management of all assets and their associated risks.
• Establish and monitor key risk/performance indicators (KRIs & KPIs) to track the effectiveness and efficiency of asset management governance activities and the cybersecurity risk reduction of unknown IT assets.
• Stay current on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to hardware and software IT asset risk management and cybersecurity in the financial services sector.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to IT asset management and cybersecurity in financial services.

• 
  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, minimum of 5 years within Cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance preferably within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated experience in governing IT Asset management in a large-scale, complex organization, with a focus on cybersecurity risk reduction.
• Strong knowledge of IT asset management best practices, tools, methodologies, and regulatory requirements specific to the financial services sector.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that reduce risk and enhance security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as ITIL, IAITAM-CAMSE, CISM, or other asset management and cybersecurity certifications are strongly preferred.
