IT Helpdesk Engineer Crowborough, England
Job description
No One Internet is looking for a helpdesk engineer to join a small in-house team.
Reporting to the Senior Engineer the successful candidate will learn/develop skills in.
1. Provisioning broadband services for residential and business customers
2. Troubleshoot/report broadband issues for existing customers
3. Configure broadband routers.
4. Configure switches / firewalls
5. Deliver support to legacy support customers for a variety of IT services including hosted Citrix desktops, Microsoft365, printer issues, and general IT support issues.
Although No One Internet's core business is the provision of broadband internet services we also provide general IT support servcies to a number of customers. The role requires someone with exposure to a broad range of information technologies.
The successful candidate will have, ideally, worked in a helpdesk environment for a minimum of 1 year and will have had exposure to the things that we encounter on a daily basis, including, but not limited to - DNS/ DHCP/ Basic switch configuration/ Basic network knowledge /Broadband Routers/ Wireless Technology/ Microsoft365/ Windows Server.
We are a small team and the most important charateristic we are looking for is someone who is great with customers and has a "can do" attitude.
We would like to employ someone within a 30 mile radius of our office in Crowborough. The successful candidate can work from home / remotely if they are able to or they can work from our office in Crowborough.
A car driver would be beneficial as there are occasions where a site visit may be necessary but this isn't essential.
Salary commensurate with experience.
