Risk Control Manager

What will you be doing?
The Risk Control Manager will be accountable for the implementation of the Consumer Duty rules and requirements across Consumer and Enterprise, which includes the embedding of the new rules, reporting and regulations which impact our customers.
As the leader for Consumer Duty, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance around the regulation, along with providing monthly updates to the Consumer and Business Leadership Team. The role holder will need to build strong relationships with senior leaders across Vodafone UK and with wider Risks and Compliance teams. This role will also need to support ad-hoc projects as required and ensure Risk and Compliance is well represented across key customer impacting programmes.
Additionally, you will be working across our Partner teams to assure their compliance with risk and control (including regulatory) commitments.
Who are we looking for?
The ability to interpret risk, compliance, control, and regulatory expectations and build and manage process to support adherence will be key for this role. You must have knowledge of the new Consumer Duty rules or experience of operating in an FCA regulated environment with proven experience in being able to establish, implement and manage processes.
An influential and pragmatic leader, you will apply your experience to understand how to effectively operate within the team, with key stakeholders and with peers/teams across the organisation. This includes the ability to influence senior managers and peers to drive change & engagement across the organisation.
We expect you to have experience in embedding new regulatory requirements and conducting regulatory reporting, as well as experience in risk management, compliance, and adherence to risk frameworks.
