JOB SUMMARY - VAN Delivery Driver (London)


We’re looking for ambitious and reliable 3.5-ton multi-drop delivery driver to be the face of The Menu Partners in London. The ideal candidate must be someone looking to prove themselves in a fast-paced FMCG environment. They must not be afraid to dive into the daily challenges of working on the road and this is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants join a fast-growing business.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Have a passion for the food industry
  • 1 years previous experience
  • Has great customer service skills and an interest in meeting new people
  • Has ambition to be a key part of a fast-growing team and business
  • Needs to be well organised and have a keen eye for detail
  • A self-motivator and able to think on their feet
  • Required to be proactive and flexible in their day to day approach
  • A strategic thinker with initiative
  • Possesses excellent time-management skills
  • A desire to be part of a fun, hardworking and growing team
  • Needs be able to work early morning and/or nights if required
  • Able to be flexible with working hours
  • Able to assist/complete other departmental tasks when not driving

RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Following routed deliveries & collections (Monday to Saturday)
  • Being the company’s ‘eyes and ears’ when out on the road and relaying necessary information to the team
  • Representing the company to the highest standard including presentation and communication
  • Maintenance of your company van and daily checks
  • Completing in the necessary daily paperwork

REQUIRED SKILLS:


  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally
  • You must be over 25 and have held a full driving licence for at least 2 years
  • Ability to drive a 3.5-ton van
  • A full clean driving licence is essential
  • Strategic thinker and decisive when required
