Responsible for managing change initiatives across Risk with a focus on Group led change initiatives, as well as launching and leading initiatives to improve and/or implement new ways of working in a range of different areas such as risk culture, governance, people, policies, processes, risk models and systems.
The difference you’ll make
Managing the full change management process and related governance for projects and represent Risk as required in the different governance fora.
Working with senior business stakeholders to challenge and develop overall lending strategy and operating model
Ensuring the area operates effectively in adherence to the internal policies of the bank and legislative/regulatory guidelines of relevant external authorities
Ensuring all communications are clear, contain the right amount of detail, are accurate and actionable
Challenging the current processes and run initiatives to develop and implement a best-in-class operating model for Risk
What you’ll bring
Detailed knowledge of change management, including project management, process design and data management techniques and tools.
An ability to engage at a senior management level both internally and externally and manage key stakeholders
It would also be nice for you to have
Experience of working within UK banking sector
What else you need to know
This role is based in Milton Keynes or any other national Santander office, with flexibility working from home
