RF-Microwave & High Speed digital Design Engineer
We are looking for a RF - Microwave & High speed digital Design Engineer to join the Communication Products team. The role is focused on the design and manufacture of RF equipment such as Solid State Power Amplifier ( SSPA ), low-noise amplifier (LNA), Frequency Converters, Receivers and Beacon equipment for satellite communication payloads from UHF through to Ka band and higher.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
Design and manufacturing support for a wide range of equipment; including Processors, Power Amplifier, Frequency converter and beam forming products covering electrical RF / DC performance analysis, assessment of mechanical realisation and oversight of production test and development test
Undertake detailed design of amplifier matching circuits, filters, mixer circuits and entire circuit line-up using Keysight ADS.
Undertake detailed design for high speed digital communication components and structures within complex products. Co-ordinate design activity, manage BoM and product documentation. Generate equipment analyses and present at internal and external design reviews.
Hands-on evaluation of engineering prototype circuits and equipment.
Preparation of project related documentation for evaluation requirements and customer facing design reviews. Technically Liaise with Customer and Partner companies

ABOUT YOU
Experience in RF-Microwave circuit design and development of sub-system architectures for high frequency analogue equipment, ideally (but not essential) in satellite communications.
Knowledge of high-speed digital communication: differential transmission lines, equalisation, test methods and apparatus.
Recent experience with Keysight ADS (preferably version 2019 and later)
Ability to liaise with internal projects and component suppliers.
Experience using RF and microwave test equipment
