A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking a Radar Engineer to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This position provides second-level engineering support for the Radar Team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and determine operational issues and recommend solutions for the Mode-S and Mode-S Replacement Radar systems.
• Diagnose and repair legacy equipment utilizing repair manual and basic tools.
• Build custom cable harnesses with manufacturer hand tools.
• Design, develop, optimize, code, test, review, and debug embedded systems with real-time multitasking operating systems.
• Troubleshoot, enhance stability, efficiency and scalability of system resources.
• Validate and integrate new designs for the complex systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skills Required:

• Knowledge in Linux operating systems and embedded Linux.
• Knowledge in at least one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, VHDL, Python.
• Linux, Windows Operating Systems.
• Basic understanding of circuits operating in the radio frequency bandwidth.
• US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain Government clearance.

Skills Preferred:

• Programming experience.
• Digital Circuit Experience:
  • Digital Logic Circuits (Xilinx, Altera)
  • VHDL or Verilog
  • Test Bench Simulation

Education:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 years of related work experience OR
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 years related work experience.
