Job description
Assistant Project Manager - high end residential
-Based between head office (sw14) and multiple sites (typically from Central London)
-There will be a requirement to travel either on public transport or by car
-Valid driving license required
Salary: up to £40,000k
-Typically 0745am -1700pm but may be more or less depending upon the requirements of the projects
-20 days paid leave + bank Holidays
Experience/ qualifications;
-Candidate must have Project Management qualifications
-Candidate must have experience within the property/ construction industry, preferably with experience of prime property
Role;
-Field enquiries for small works
-Visit site, assess works and price works
-present the cost of works to the client/ clients representative for consideration
-Present variations to the client or clients representative
-Invoice the works
-Procure materials, labour and subcontractors
-Obtain all design information/ client decisions to allow project completion
-Form construction issue programmes and track site progress
-Report weekly to directors and leadership team
-Plan company's labour weekly
-Update Holt contract planner
-Oversee the supply chain and focus on the critical path
-Quality control
-Updating RFI, CVI, IRS
-Coordinating subcontractors
-Direct liaison with client and design team (larger projects)
-Liaison with building control, structural engineers, client direct consultants (av, services etc)
-Liaise with head office to arrange permits and licenses
-Client handover and formation of operation and maintenance manuals
Key skills;
-Good communication skills exp with foreign nationals
-We are looking for someone who is 'hands on'
-They will need to display initiative and think outside the box
-They will often need to find solutions to problems
