We are looking for a Revenues Officer to join our team responsible for the administration and collection of Council Tax. This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines and targets.

The successful applicant will deal with maintaining accurate Council Tax records in accordance with Council Tax legislation and council policies. The Revenues Officer will communicate with members of the public by telephone, by letter and by email and will need to be able to vary communication styles depending on the situation to achieve the best outcome for the Council, while offering excellent customer service.

The successful applicant will need to be accurate, productive and flexibility is important along with the ability to adapt to changing demands. The possession of sound IT skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel are essential.

The successful applicant will be required to work 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Interviews are currently scheduled for the week commencing 12th June.

The Revenues and Benefits Service operates hybrid working and, following a period of in-house office-based training, remote working is possible.
