Job Title: Retail Security Officer
Location: Arthur Street, Belfast
Rate of Pay: £10.00 per hour
Hours of work: 38 hours per week
Days of work: Wednesday - Sunday
The main purpose of the role include:
· Presenting, a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence at all times.
· Greeting customers or thanking customers at doorway
· Patrol shop floor to observe and prevent any suspicious behaviour or theft of goods
· Controlling café queue when requested from café manager
· Writing complete and accurate incident reports and taking appropriate action as required
· Ensuring the safety and security of our clients’ visitors, buildings and assets by carrying out all duties in full adherence with the site assignment instructions.
· Ensure full compliance with site policies and procedures.
· Adhering to site regulations, to include fire, health and safety, covid 19 and evacuations.
· Ensure that all incidents, which occur during your duties, are reported promptly and recorded within the guidelines laid down by the Client/Sword Security Management and are efficiently dealt with
Essential Criteria
· Must hold a current valid SIA Licence
· Ability to deliver excellent customer service, with a positive, professional attitude
· Must be able to display a flexible approach to work with the drive to learn multiple disciplines
Desirable Criteria
· Experience in the security industry and with a similar retail role
· First aid certificate
· Customer service training
