Digital Marketing Assistant
Department: Marketing
Responsible to: Head of Marketing / Digital Marketing Manager
Picturehouse Cinemas operate 26 cinemas across the UK, releases around ten films per year, distribute alternative content to cinemas around the world and are a stand-alone division of Cineworld PLC.
We are seeking a confident, experienced, and organised person to work across the digital side of the business, reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the content of the Picturehouse website, working in collaboration with Digital Marketing Manager, Content Editor, and the wider Programming, Design, and Marketing teams.
The ideal candidate would have experience working on a busy commercial website - uploading copy & images, ensuring customer journeys are as smooth as possible, and responding to the needs of the wider business where updates and amendments are required.

Job Purpose
To manage the day to day content needs of the picturehouses.com website including images, copy, and functionality. Also, to support the wider team with digital specific tasks including CRM, social media, and writing copy.
Person specification:
Essential:
- Website content management, with excellent IT skills and CMS experience
- Previous digital media and/or marketing experience
- B2C (Business to Customer) marketing
- Excellent writing skills
- Working collaboratively
- Proofread and edit material where appropriate
- Planning & Organisation
- Attention to detail
- Working in a team
Desirable:
- Knowledge of cinemas and a passion of film
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing
- Working knowledge of SEO, Social Media, and CRM
- Awareness of copyright and privacy regulations
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4)
- Producing and presenting reports
- Experience using Vista Cinema and / or Movio Cinema
