Our TJ Hughes London Road store is relocating to a new store situated in the Liverpool City Centre and we are currently recruiting for staff to join the team for this exciting move.
The roles available will initially be for a fixed term contract of 13 weeks, being reviewed for the possibility of a further contract extension to cover the peak trading period for Christmas, or becoming a permanent role.
Hours will be for 16 per week, and is typically worked as a 4 hour shift over any 4 days out of Sunday to Saturday.
The store will be trading until 20.00 hours of a weekday and 19.00 hours on a Saturday with Sunday trading of 11.00-17.00 hours.
This new location provides us with tremendous opportunities for growth. Retail expertise and dedication will be instrumental in establishing our new store at its new location.
As a retail assistant your role is to support the store manager in achieving store objectives, including the delivery of sales targets, stock availability, replenishment, high levels of visual merchandising and customer service excellence.
· Delivers an excellent standard of customer service through active approach and conversation with our customers demonstrating the ability to provide in depth customer service.
· High merchandising and pricing standards.
· Proactively maintains an excellent level of displayby regularly checking stockrooms for replenishment of own product area at suitable times throughout the day.
· Reports any customer requests/comments about section’s product range to Manager and assists in the drive for improvement.
· Proactive with personal HASAWA responsibilitiestowards self, customers & staff.
· Keeps up to date with key communications including daily sales targets.
· Supports Loss Prevention by staying vigilant at all times for both customer and staff theft.
· Has a regular focus on delivering an excellent standard of general housekeeping.
· Any other duties as required in accordance with the needs of the business/store operations.
Required Skills
· Retail experience useful
· Confident and personable approach to teamwork with both customers and staff
· Able to work quickly whilst maintaining accuracy & consistency
