Job description
Working as an HR generalist you will help in delivering a comprehensive and professional human resources service ensuring the delivery of key elements of human resource management, including building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, project management, EDI, wellbeing and employee relations.
KEY TASKS
The HR Advisor will support the HR team in the delivery of an efficient and effective HR support and advisory service to departments within the Institution by providing support and advice on all people related issues, consistent with internal processes and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities and duties;
1. To provide generalist HR advice and support on a range of HR issues including; terms and conditions of employment, HR policies and procedures, performance, conduct and absence management.
2. To provide advice and support on organisational change projects and staff consultations
3. ER case management inclusive of;
- Providing advice and guidance, ensuring policies are followed correctly and all paperwork is completed.
- Arranging and attend informal/formal meetings and hearings, ensuring that all paperwork work is accurate. Take notes at meetings as required.
- To provide HR and admin support to investigating officers in the management of casework; specifically, investigations into conduct, capability and grievance matters
- Follow up all meetings with formal documentation
