As a Product Owner for Digital Mortgage Servicing in the Homes Division, you’ll contribute to the on-going digital transformation of Santander, at an exciting time to join our agile delivery team.
You’ll be responsible for delivering the strategic vision of the Digital Mortgage Servicing team using a clear roadmap of prioritised features through an agile team of software engineers. You’ll ensure our digital servicing programme provides a first-class user experience, whilst delivering against key performance metrics and the strategy of our Homes Division.
The difference you’ll make.
- Overseeing the delivery of the digital mortgage servicing roadmap and vision (for both online banking and the mobile banking app)
- Articulating the vision, goals and advocating the team’s priorities, user, and business needs.
- Developing the product/proposition, but also working to improve operational, IT and security processes, controls, recruitment, training, risk management, and obsolescence considerations
- Leading the discovery and quantification of business value to ensure it is delivered early and often whist considering user and customer needs, maximising user understanding, usability, and market viability
- Maintaining a relevant level of technical knowledge, understanding how to prioritise value against technical complexity
What you’ll bring.
- Experience in delivering an end-to-end user journey and user story writing and prioritisation of a backlog to deliver against the project vision, roadmap and Key Performance metrics
- Previous experience managing a software development team and delivering a roadmap through an agile methodology using principles of build, measure, learn.
It would also be nice for you to have.
- A good working understanding of agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Influencing skills to facilitate cross-functional working across the Homes Division and wider business.
- Proven analytical and problem analysis skills - able to draw meaningful conclusions from data and use to present business cases and demonstrate success through key metrics.
- Experience in financial services or mortgages is desirable
