Job description
At Framing Castle we make bespoke frames for our customers. The ideal candidate will be working with the manager to serve customers with their framing enquires.
We are looking for a talented, hardworking, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team. This position requires great attention to detail as well as having good maths skills.
The main responsibility will be greeting customers, providing price for each piece of their work and processing payments.
They will also be involved in carrying out the assembly and finishing of the frames made by our framers. Other general duties are cleaning and maintaining the shop.
This is a role, which might include working on Saturdays.
Key skills and attributes:
- Excellent communication skills and positive attitude are required as this is a customer facing role.
- Maintaining an in-depth understanding of the company’s products or services to advise and make suitable recommendations to customers.
- Ambitious, creative and great attention to details.
- Experience in processing cash and card payments.
- Be able to work well under pressure.
- Ability to conduct effective sales.
- Proficiency in English.
- Basic administration skills.
Desirables:
- Previous experience in similar position would be advantage.
- Background in Art.
- College/ University degree.
