POSITION
MISSION STATEMENT
The Retail Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and retail initiatives across the UK & Netherlands network.
He / she reports to the General Manager UK & Netherlands and functionally to the Retail Marketing Director of Europe with the aim of driving retail and marketing needs of all stores, as well as guaranteeing full alignment with local and zone programs initiatives.
Under the GM’s supervision, he/she is responsible of:
- Leading and ensuring a successful and consistent performance of retail execution in line with the company’s KPIs through analysis of sales, traffic and other reports that ensure a focus on the best tactics to drive sales in store
- Promoting a strong clientelling mindset to accelerate the business growth
- Leading and managing analyses and administrative duties to support the daily store activities
Under the Retail Marketing Director of Europe, he/she is in charge of:
- Promoting the implementation of the zone marketing strategy across all boutiques, foster new ideas and keep constant alignment between markets and zone teams
- Developing a strong omnichannel attitude by ensuring the adoption, tracking and monitoring of all new technologies implemented by the company
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Business and Retail Performance
- Monitor the business at market and boutique levels to drive key insights to growth the business through ad hoc retail analysis and regular reporting
- Manage the budget and targets for specific retail initiatives across the network
- assess, develop and promote the usage of current and new methodology and tools, keeping an omnichannel approach to guarantee a consistent delivery of the stores on main retail KPIs
- Liaise with Europe Retail Operation team to support stores in meeting deadlines
- Monitor the competitive landscape and trends and propose appropriate responses
Clienteling
- Support the stores in developing in and out of boutique clienteling animations and events during the year in line with company guidelines, predefined targets of clients and business goals
- Coordinate the CRM Ambassador network in stores, and support the adoption of clienteling tools and initiatives to increase their generated share of business
- Provide ad hoc support and coaching to stores with CRM analysis, KPIs monitoring, new ideas and feedback according to customized needs for each boutique
- Guarantee an excellent usage of CRM tools in store
- Promote a culture of best practice sharing within the market and the zone
You may also be required to carry out any other duties within your capacity, which the Company may reasonably require.
PROFILE
- At least 5 years’ experience in a retail company within an international environment. Experience in luxury fashion / high- end services is welcomed
- MBA or Master’s Degree in luxury program, marketing or business related subjects
- Excellent usage of MS office tools and BI programs
- Understanding of what drives traffic into a retail environment, and of retail analytics. Ability to review data, identify opportunities and develop action plans to exploit the opportunities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proactive attitude
- Strong project management and problem-solving attitude
- Goal orientated, high attention to details and multi-tasking
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Passioned and curious about luxury fashion industry trends
- Fluent in English (another language will be a plus)
- Available to travel 70% of the time
