Retail Integrity Officer
Location: Home based + travel
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday

Role Purpose
As a key member of the Retail Integrity Team the purpose of this role is to provide assurance to the retail business unit by helping to reduce exposure to theft, fraud and dishonesty and drive best practice in line with stated policy and procedures.
The Retail Integrity Officer will manage a structured audit plan (comprising of both site based and remote audits), perform focussed security reviews and provide detailed feedback. They will also be required to perform and support investigations into allegations around the conduct of those working across the retail estate.
The role involves driving awareness of key issues affecting the retail business and providing regular intelligence led updates to the retail management teams around local risks involving both partner agent (franchise) and red stores. This intelligence will be gained through reviewing and utilising information from the risk dashboard, exception reporting and retail intelligence (RIG) output.
What you'll do
Plan and undertake a risk-based programme of audits;
Ensure that high risk stores are prioritised.
Utilise both remote and physical audits to drive efficiency and control risk.
Work with retail leadership and partner agents on stores at high risk of stock loss, fraud or poor behaviours.
Ensure that stores are audited and dealt with using a consistently applied approach.
Ensure that issues are clearly communicate in order that an appropriate mitigation plan can be put in place.
Ensure that issues are communicated through the retail management team in line with their management of the partner agent base.
Use skills and experience to drive up standards within retail stores.
Make use of ‘best practice’ gained from well performing stores who have robust controls in place to mitigate risk.
Help to drive a culture of compliance and ‘doing the right thing’.
Assist in embedding all P&P into the daily activities of store and regional management.
Contribute to the delivery of awareness around risks and the threats posed by fraud.
Make recommendations for process improvement to assist in the mitigation of risk.
Investigate malpractice & poor behaviour identified through risk and exception reporting
Undertake remote and physical visits to explore allegations of wrongdoing and reviewing locally held evidence, systems and CCTV where appropriate.
Conduct investigations against suspects identified through incident reporting, speak up cases, risk/exception reporting or from the RIG.
Produce detailed reporting to provide a factual, evidence led view of findings and use (where appropriate) to progress internal disciplinary issues, process improvements, clawbacks or to mitigate against associated risks.
Who you are
Demonstratable level of compliance and an understanding of the impact of poor compliance.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate to both retail management and partner agents.
Ability to relay negative performance in an objective way.
Process / Risk Awareness experience.
Clear and concise written communication skills.
Analysis skills – ability to extract and understand multiple, diverse data sets to proactively identify trends and threats in the retail channel and convey to the relevant stakeholders.
