Tagging/Field Monitoring Officer
Essential – must have a Driving Licence
Covering areas such as WA14,WS15, SK 1 to 10, OL4 to OL9 – must reside in a 10-mile radius in one of these locations
JOB DUTIES:-
Join this fantastic organisation as a Field Monitoring Officer and be part of a friendly team, who will support you to learn and develop in the role
Working shifts, hours will vary as its between 4pm to 1am including weekends, on a shift rota basis
This role is helping to track individuals in the local area and support them to complete their sentences outside of prison
3 weeks full induction/training is given and then you job shadow a team member until comfortable in the role
Excellent promotional opportunities to other positions in the future, including management
Visiting subjects houses to install, calibrate, and decommission electronic monitoring equipment
Checking and cleaning the equipment on issue and collection, as well as quarantining any equipment needed for evidence
Liaising with the control centre to report any issues or subject breaches
Showing respect to subjects to build confidence in the justice system and their safety
Keeping paperwork up to date and following procedures
Taking part in meetings with the Manager
Full training is given for this role, so it would suit people that have worked in either custodial, prison service, security, postal worker, broadband engineer or similar, worked in social care, police force, etc or any industry that is used to dealing with people at all levels
Must be resilient and not easily offended.
