Title: Energy Expert- Part Time
Department: Sales
Location: West Brom Hub
Salary: £25,105 (Pro Rata)
Hours: Monday – Saturday, shift rotation basis

We are looking for part time people to join us in our West Brom Retail Hub, where you will interact with customers through face to face, telephony, and live chat.

Don’t worry if you don’t have previous experience in the energy industry, as all of this is covered in our comprehensive induction at our Head Office in Chandlers Ford.

Although this role offers flexible 20 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, you will need to work full time for the first three weeks to ensure you have all the knowledge and tools to support our customers.

What does this role involve?

Our Energy Hubs are located on the high streets, to service customers in the community.

Day to day, you will;

  • use our in-house CRM system to allocate customer correspondence to the correct account;
  • liaise with internal departments to investigate and resolve customer queries regarding bills, complaints, technical meter enquiries, booking engineer meter installations;
  • top up customers gas and electric meters;
  • provide energy efficiency advice;
  • process PayPoint and Payzone transactions;
  • work to sales and services targets;
  • sell Utilita products;
  • work closely with local charities and organisations to help fundraise and deliver on vital services, whilst promoting our own charitable foundation ‘Utilita Giving’.

Who are we looking for?

You will be a positive and solution focused individual with a can-do attitude, as we strive to resolve all customer queries at first instance.

Your ability to adapt will enable you to move between different customer contact, whether this is face to face, live chat or on the phone supporting as an overflow to our contact centre.

Previous experience in a customer focused role, either face to face or telephony is advantageous.
