We are looking for a Professional Development Co-ordinator to become part of our Children and Families Workforce Development Team to help support the development of students, newly qualified social workers and wider social work and social care practice. The successful candidate will work alongside the Children and Families Practice Development Lead and Principal Social Worker to co-ordinate, develop and manage the process of professional and practice development within North Lincolnshire Council’s Children’s and Families to ensure a workforce with the stability, skills, attributes, and knowledge to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and families.
In North Lincolnshire we care about our workforce and want to ensure optimal conditions for professional practice with the best possible learning experiences for our students, a supported first year in practice for our Newly Qualified Social Workers with continuous professional development and progression opportunities for our wider workforce.
We are looking for someone who has an understanding and awareness of the ASYE programme and experience of supporting, coaching and mentoring others. The role also includes close links to the Humber Social Work Teaching Partnership. Candidates must be qualified social workers registered with Social Work England and hold a Practice Education qualification or be willing to work towards one.
