Retail Assistant - Sundays
£3,521.96 per annum
Rate – Band 11 / L1
Royal Armouries Trading and Enterprises (RATE) is the commercial arm of the Royal Armouries Museum, the National Museum of Arms and Armour. RATE plays a crucial role in supporting the museum with its income generation activity.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Retail Assistant to play a key role in our Retail team at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds.
You will be an energetic individual who strives at every opportunity to delight customers by surpassing their expectations and deliver excellent customer care. You will deliver the best standard of service, expected from a national museum.
We are looking for proactive sales person who can advise customers on both product and service choices and are comfortable working as part of the team to achieve the department’s sales targets.
Working with the Retail Management you will be given the opportunity to express your creativity by assisting in the creation of instore merchandising and window displays that are eye-catching and engaging.
You will deliver the best standard of cleanliness and service, while ensuring that the shop is well stocked at all times.
Attention to detail is also essential as post holders will be required received and check deliveries. It is imperative that the successful post holders have cash handling and customer service experience.
This position is a permanent contract, working 6.5 hours per week, Sundays Only. Bank Holiday, evening and overtime working maybe required.
