Role Purpose
Deliver the Eden Mill brand story with passion and enthusiasm to create a welcoming and experiential shopping experience. Ensure our customer’s expectations and needs are achieved through product recommendations, processing sales transactions and maintaining operational store standards.
Accountabilities
1. Deliver exceptional customer service through product knowledge and product recommendations tailored to the needs of each individual customer.
· Bring your personality, enthusiasm and passion to work each day to delivery the Eden Mill story and values to our customers. Guiding them through our product ranges whilst identifying our customer’s needs and expectations to ensure they return time and time again.
2. Deliver the store’s sales targets by promoting products and upselling opportunities.
· Proactively engaging with our product range and brand story, understanding the key selling features of our products and engage with upselling initiatives and techniques.
3. Proactive self-learning and collaborative team learning through knowledge sharing.
· Own your own development with an enthusiasm to learn and keep your product knowledge up to date. Share your knowledge and passion with the wider team to elevate the Eden Mill brand story and product recommendations to our customers.
4. Correctly operating the till and POS system to ensure stock accuracy and efficient customer service.
· Ensure our customers are served with care and efficiency using our POS system whilst maintaining stock accuracy in line with policy and procedures.
5. Maintaining the highest level of store housekeeping standards and visual merchandising.
· Play your part to ensure all areas of the store is maintained to the highest standard including backstage areas in line with our guidelines.
6. Receiving and maintaining stock deliveries in line with company policy and procedures.
· Maintain stock accuracy through ensuring we manage stock correctly through our processes.
7. Maintain POS, ticketing and pricing policy
· Ensure the store delivers company and legal POS, ticketing and pricing policies
8. Ensuring in store security, FH&S procedures and regulations are adhered to.
· Work with Eden Mill policies and procedure to ensure you conduct yourself correctly keeping you, team members and customers safe within the retail environment.
9. Deliver the Eden Mill retail playbook, policies & procedures
· Actively engage and keep up to date with the Eden Mill way of working in store to ensuring policies and procedures are maintained and delivered.

Take accountability for your own personal development, proactively learning on the job to ensure you keep up to date with our products, product development and new products. Own the key selling features of our products to confidently recommend products to suit the customer’s needs.

Anticipate potential problems and take steps to prevent them from occurring in the first instance. Effectively react and solve problems which do occur quickly and efficiently ensuring customer service is maintained at all times.
3.Verbal Communication
Effective confident communication to ensure you can relay important information to our customers, guide them on the best products for their needs and providing them with information on promotions and policies.
7.Sales
Support the company sales objectives by keeping up to date with targets, in store promotions and product knowledge. Learn, adapt and deliver upselling techniques to our customers.
4.Team Work
Play your part to work collaboratively with the team ensuring that everyone is supported to complete tasks, sharing knowledge and deliver excellent customer service.
8.Retail Merchandising
Maintain and manage products in store within company guidelines. Ensure that products are replenished and that correct POS, ticketing and pricing is accurately displayed.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a retail sales or customer service environment.
· Confident communicator to deliver customer service.
· Focussed on driving sales opportunities.
· Have a positive approach to tasks with a can-do attitude.
· Strong team player with an eye for detail.
· Competent at operating a POS system.
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Salary: £10.42 per hour
