Job description
We are currently looking to recruit proactive and conscientious team members for our busy 2AA Rosette Restaurant located within our busy hotel. Reporting to the Restaurant Supervisor, as a waiter you will be responsible for providing excellent service within the restaurant.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing a warm welcome for guests
- Providing guest service in the restaurant, as per the hotel standards, including welcoming guests, offering advice on the menu and dishes available, table service, processing payments etc.
- Anticipating guests needs whenever possible and react to these in a friendly and efficient manner to enhance guest satisfaction and exceed expectations.
- Assisting in the general tidiness and cleanliness of the restaurant, ensuring stations are ready for service and all food and beverage areas are set to the required layout.
- Making sure the Company Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH legislations are adhered to at all times.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with the following personal attributes:
- Experience in a similar role
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Able to communicate in a clear, friendly and courteous manner.
- Pro-active with excellent awareness and an eye for detail.
- Positive person with a passion for delivering great guest service.
Hours are mainly evening and weekend based set out on a rota basis, however these can be varied as per the business needs.
