Job description
We are looking for a bar supervisor/manager to join our superstar team!
We often get complimented on our friendly and fun service and with a bar, pizza kitchen and a B&B above the bar, there can be a lot going on especially with our special quiz nights and poker nights! So being able to carry out a multiple of different tasks with energy and enthusiasm is a must! This is an ideal opportunity for a experienced bartender to take the next step into management within a small team and established pub.
What we are looking for;
- 1 year of bar/pub experience
- 2 years of hospitality experience within a customer-facing role
- Cellar management experience (preferred but training is available)
- Personal Licence (preferred)
- Able to work independently
- Have a good knowledge of Beer, Wine and Spirits
- A 'hands-on' manager
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills
- Good grasp of licensing laws
The most important requirements, however,are having a positive and can-do attitude along with a real passion for the hospitality industry!
The ideal candidate will be dedicated and concentrated on developing the pub and team under the direction of the managing director to reach its full potential and in doing so, a General Manager position can be available very quickly!
