New Roots Children's Services is opening it's second children home. We are a family owned provider of therapeutic residential childcare. Do you want to be part of a team who will be supported and led by an experienced registered and deputy manager? We are an organisation that specialises in providing best-in-class care and support for children and young people who have complex needs. You will have access to on-going high quality training to develop as a practitioner. You will have regular supervision including clinical supervision and be supported by our in house clinical psychologist.

Our Salary offer: £27,780 to £29,184 per annum.
For unqualified staff starts at £11.25 per hour rising to £12.00 for qualified staff with experience. You will be paid £70.00 per sleep in.
Those on a full time contract will work 36 hours per week which will include undertaking two 24.5 hours shifts which includes 16.5 paid hours, plus a sleep in. Our shift start at 10am - 11pm you will then complete a sleep in. The following morning you will work from 7am -10:30am, where you will hand over to the next staff team.
30 days annual leave entitlement which includes sleep ins, yes you heard it right, we pay 8 annual leave sleep in payments when taking annual leave per annum. For example, you book a weeks annual leave you will be paid for two sleep in duties.
For every year of completed service you will accrue an additional days annual leave up to a maximum 5 days. You will also accrue additional annual leave sleep ins.
If you work over time, at the years end (March) if you have worked over you annual contracted hours you will also earn the annual leave entitlement for the hours you have worked.
We are looking for someone who is willing to go above and beyond for the children and young people in our care, ensuring that they have an experience of childhood that they can reflect upon and carry with them into adulthood. You will be trained in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy. Dyadic Developmental Practice is an all-encompassing approach that includes parenting and caring for children as well as the therapy. The work of New Roots Children’s Services is both varied and challenging which results in some unpredictable circumstances. There is an integral need for all employees to be flexible in response to situations that arise outside of this job description.
