Residential Care Assistant – Basildon and Castle Point
Permanent, Full Time and Part Time
From £10.42 per hour
Location: Basildon and surrounding areas
Essex County Council are currently looking for residential care assistants to join external care providers throughout Basildon and surrounding areas. Locations include
- Basildon
- Benfleet
- Wickford
- Rochford
- Canvey Island
- Hockley
The shift patterns vary with both full time and part time hours available and will require day, night and weekend working. Shift times can be discussed at interview stage.
We are currently working with a number of different care providers throughout Basildon and surrounding areas who provide residential care with their recruitment needs. There are a variety of different residential care settings across Essex including elderly care homes and supported living facilities.
As a care assistant you will play a pivotal role providing support to someone who requires additional support to live their day-to-day life.
Responsibilities
- Personal care
- Assisting with mealtimes
- Assisting with housekeeping and general house management
- Promote of mental and physical activity including outing in the community and sharing in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies, and recreations
- Supporting people to live their lives to the fullest
