We are currently recruiting for a Resident Involvement Officer to be based at our Corsica Street and London Wrights Road offices on a permanent basis.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, helpful and responsive individual with strong customer focus skills, excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders. The successful candidate will also be able to 'think outside the box', and be willing to explore and seek out new ideas and innovation to engage and involve residents.
Working as part of the Resident Involvement team for North London, you’ll help promote, coordinate and deliver Resident Involvement opportunities and activities for the region including support of resident-led scrutiny of services. You’ll act as a consultant to regional teams in how RI is delivered at a local / neighbourhood level to include training and motivating teams where necessary.
Some of the other key duties include:

Act as the primary point of contact for resident enquiries about Resident Involvement opportunities

Evidence, promote, coordinate and deliver Resident Involvement activities for the region, ensuring that arrangements are flexible and inclusive

Evidence gathering and verification of regional compliance with HCA National Standards Framework and report on Resident Involvement locally and for the region, including Impact Assessments and KPI performance

Work collaboratively across the region and nationally to embed an understanding of RI and the importance of involvement in all service delivery

Act as a consultant to regional teams in how involvement is delivered at local, regional and national level. Training, motivating and supporting staff as needed

Contribute to the development of a range of RI techniques, including online tools, to ensure that customers have a choice of channel for their involvement. Support for the priorities of the Digital RI agenda is required
Ideally you will have experience in Resident Involvement, Community Development or Housing along with project management experience. You’ll be able to work flexible hours on occasions and to attend evening meetings or weekend events and be able to travel the region as required.
