Changing elites
Prof Aaron Reeves is looking for a Research Support Assistant to work with them on the Changing Elites project. The project is funded by the European Research Council.
The research project involves a cross-disciplinary group comprising historians, psychologists, and social scientists who are aiming to explore how processes of elite formation have changed over time.
You will be involved in supporting various parts of the project including transcribing and editing interviews, conducting searches of academic literature, transcribing historical materials and other research-related tasks. There may also be some administrative tasks including organising and maintaining finance documents.
You will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant social science discipline, with a strong understanding of evidence-based research and implementation science methodologies and principles. You will be proficient in data cleaning and analysis with experience of budgeting and finance with regards to research projects. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential, as are computer and internet skills. You must be able to work in a team whilst managing your own activities.
This is a fixed term post for one year. It is offered on a variable hours basis and we expect the hours to average between 8-15 per week.
