Your role will be is to support the efforts of the Research Team through the development of novel Reinforcement Learning methods and applications. Our approach encourages collaboration across all groups within the company, leading to ambitious breakthroughs at the forefront of AI research.
InstaDeep is looking for Research Intern to join our Research Team in London, with a particular focus on Reinforcement Learning. Reinforcement Learning is a critical area of expertise at InstaDeep because it enables us to build intelligent systems that can learn and adapt in dynamic and complex environments. At InstaDeep, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of AI and using our expertise in reinforcement learning to solve the world's most challenging problems. The Research Team is instrumental in driving this mission by developing cutting-edge research and ensuring InstaDeep remains at the forefront of these fields.

As a Research Intern, you will work closely with our Research Scientists and Research Engineers to help deliver on our ambitious goals. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the efforts of the Research Team through the development of novel methods and applications under the guidance of our Research Scientists and Engineers.
- Contribute to team research and publications.
- Bridge the gap between the research and engineering teams by contributing research that can be applied to InstaDeep’s products and solutions.
- Report and present experimental results and research findings, both internally and externally, verbally and in writing.
- Upon request, collaborate with other groups’ activities, including but not limited to presenting the company to new prospective clients, participating in calls and meetings, and representing InstaDeep in conferences/events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled in a PhD programme (or recent graduate) in a related STEM discipline.
- Proven ability to contribute to research communities and/or efforts, including publishing scientific papers in leading journals or conferences (JMLR, ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, GECCO, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit.
- Experience using deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax and/or Tensorflow.
- Work permit for the UK for the duration of the internship.
