About the role

Macmillan are recruiting a Research Insight Analyst to support with the delivery of research projects within Insight and Performance – analysing and interpreting outputs which add to Macmillan’s structured evidence base and producing customer, market, and trend insights in order to drive the organisation’s performance.

In addition to supporting the delivery of a wide range of primary qualitative and quantitative research projects, this role will maximise the value of existing insights by synthesising relevant insights from multiple sources (internal and external) to answer our business questions. The role will also play a key part in empowering colleagues across the organisation to understand and apply audience insight.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary group, working with research, business intelligence, data and digital analytics experts, to deliver against key research and insight focus areas for Macmillan, prioritising effort where potential return and impact is greatest.


About you

You have experience in delivering customer research. This involves applying various quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and analysis tools, strong verbal and written communication skills, an ability to synthesise and present research data in a compelling and actionable manner for a range of audiences, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple teams.

Specifically, you have experience in running large-scale quantitative surveys and are confident in manipulating survey data on online dashboards and analysing quantitative data using statistical software.
