Job description
To assist the GP's and Practice nurse team in the service delivery of the care management of the practice population, working together to meet the needs of the patient. Recognise and understand the role and responsibilities of the Health Care Assistant within Primary Care. Be familiar with the legal issues pertinent to the role. Be familiar with changing structure of health care provision relevant to general practice. Maintain personal development, learning and performance to a high standard. Previous experience is not essential, full training can be given to the right candidate.
