(Fixed-Term until 31 March 2025 / Full-Time)
Job Purpose:
The post holder will conduct research on demersal fishing impacts and associated recovery using non-invasive monitoring methods, examining the role of novel and emerging technologies and methods for gear impacts and habitat monitoring applied to fisheries management contexts. The successful candidate should have considerable seagoing research experience in terms of data acquisition and processing and demonstrated analytical capacity for geomorphological and ecological modelling of priority species and habitats.
Although there is a field element to this role, we may consider the candidates who can only work remotely within the UK on the data aspect of this role.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in the UK at the point of application for this role.
