Job description
We are recruiting an ambitious, self-motivated and experimentally talented Research Associate to join us in understanding the mechanisms underlying the response to injury and neuronal regeneration in Xenopus, a species able to regenerate its spinal cord after injury.
The specific aims of the project are to identify regeneration-specific mechanisms, generate scRNAseq datasets and use this knowledge to simulate neurogenesis.
The post is funded by UK Medical Research Council and is available fixed term until 31st January 2027. Candidates must hold a PhD or expect to shortly, in a Biological discipline.
