The Versus Arthritis Centre of Genetics and Genomics is a Centre of Excellence in molecular biology and complex genetics. Through our work, we aim to investigate the genetic causes of three common types of inflammatory arthritis: rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Our work relies on the generation and meticulous analysis of high quality data from genotyping arrays, DNA-methylation arrays, expression profiling, immunophenotyping and large publicly available datasets (e.g. UK Biobank). We wish to appoint a research associate with experience of analysing a wide range of complex disease ‘omic’ and health data. The post holder will contribute to the analysis of data for a range of genetic, epigenetic and transcriptomic studies using a variety of platforms, lead the statistical analysis of the results and the production of manuscripts.
