We wish to recruit a Research Assistant, full time 36.5 hours per week, the duration of the contract is until 30th June 2024 initially. The post is within the PETRAS Cybersecurity of IoT Systems academic team, located in the Department of Science, Technology and Public Policy.
About the role
The Research Assistant will support three senior Research Fellows working on cross-project synthesis, while developing their own academic career through collaboration on impact-generating activities. In doing this, they will work closely with PETRAS Centre Team members who lead on Business Development, and Communications.
About you
Candidates will be qualified to Masters level or higher, with an interest and appreciation of the interplay between science, technology and policy. They will be excellent communicators, orally, through presentation and the written word, and be proactive in, and comfortable with, establishing and fostering collaborative links with academic and client partners. It is expected that the candidate will co-design and co-implement cross-disciplinary research programmes with the Senior Research Fellows, while establishing a personal research area that will contribute to their continuing professional development.
