Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Research Assistant in Genome Editing.
You will join the research groups of Professor Ronjon Chakraverty and Associate Professor James Davies in developing advanced genome editing and genomics approaches for treating human disease and to support translational research in ATMPs (advanced therapeutic medicinal products).
You will hold a science degree and have significant practical experience in genome editing. Experience in core techniques for the laboratory e.g. molecular biology, nucleic acid sequencing, cell culture, are essential. Strong organisational skills and a good knowledge of statistics, bioinformatics and programming in R will also be required.
The position is fixed-term until 31 March 2025, funded by the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre.
