About the role

The central role of this post is to validate a therapeutic strategies in cellular and mouse models to move forward into the clinic. A number of molecular and cellular biology techniques will be employed in this project including tissue culture and in vivo rodent experimentation. The post holder will perform IF staining on sections, cell culture, and several molecular biology technics. She/he will carry out the tissue collection, analysis and interpretation of the data and will assist other junior researchers including PhD and MSc students. This post will be full time 36.5 hrs/ week and is available until 31/10/2024. The salary range for this post is £35,702 - £37,548 per annum.

About you

The postholder will have MSc (or equivalent) with relevant wet lab experience (molecular and cellular biology or related discipline), knowledge of muscle and skills in a range of cellular and molecular biology techniques.
