Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a range of psychological practitioners in Lewisham CMHTs to support us in delivering excellent care to our local population. A key aspect of this role will involve collecting and analysing data on service use, outcome measures for both individual and group interventions, and involvement in writing up research and evaluation for dissemination to a wide audience. We are particularly focused on increasing access to psychological interventions for ethnically marginalised groups and this role will be a key factor in monitoring our progress.
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Psychology or an undergraduate degree in another field with significant experience in mental health settings. They will also have experience in data collection and analysis, and presenting data in a variety of formats (including presentations and reports).
The main duties of the role will include working alongside a range of psychological practitioners and service users to collect data on their experience of therapy and their recovery, designing and maintaining databases, analysis of data (both qualitatively and quantitatively), and presenting data to a range of audiences.

- To support the development of a research pathway within Lewisham CMHTs
- To work alongside psychological practitioners to design monitoring systems
- To play an active role in the monitoring of the use of psychological therapy within Lewisham CMHTs & Lewisham Early Intervention Service
- To develop, co-ordinate and ensure the systematic provision of a psychology service to the Psychosis Pathway in the Lewisham Community Mental Health Teams and personally provide highly specialist clinical input.
- To contribute to enabling other staff, service users and carers from diverse backgrounds to flourish by working to create a psychologically safe environment.
- To support the implementation of a stepped care approach to psychological interventions across the Lewisham Community Mental Health Teams.
- To undertake service development, evaluation, audit, research and policy development.
- To agree outcomes/results with clinical/professional lead and to decide how they are best achieved.
