As a member of a team of Research Analysts focused on generating market and industry insights from demand-side methodologies, this role is responsible for the effective scoping and execution of primary research projects across various sectors of industry coverage and the creation of insights through quantitative analysis techniques.
The Research Analyst (Primary Research & Customer Insight) will coordinate and partner with industry analyst staff, clients, and research partners to develop quality survey instruments that produce high-value insights and be responsible for their successful execution and delivery.
The right candidate will take an integral role in the development of a new research panel that will be cultivated/managed as a community and designed to produce ongoing insights for new research services that deliver a pulse on the business and technical requirements of targeted industry sectors.
Participate in managing the on-going membership requirements of a growing research community, including:
- Panel member accreditation process to assure the panel retains its desired characteristics
- Active role in authoring research content developed from data produced by the panel and delivered to panel members as a participation incentive
- Fulfill panelist incentives and ongoing scheduled engagement activities to maintain high levels of member retention
- Assist in the development of new recruitment sources and contribute to recruitment campaigns
- Assist the overall mailing and content schedule, tempering panelist fatigue and ensuring members receive correct content
- Experience in market research and data analysis
- Strong quantitative analysis expertise
- Strong secondary research skills/ability to discover and aggregate disparate information into useful actions.
- Proficiency with data analytic tools (e.g. Excel, SPSS, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and ability manage a complex schedule that includes research, panel engagement and incentive activities
- Technology market experience is useful
- Comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders at large customers
