TheLightBulb works in partnership with the government to deliver funded Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Training courses and commercial training courses across a range of industry sectors.
TheLightBulb are looking to recruit a self motivated and experienced administrative professional, to work with learners of all ages primarily for our Skills Bootcamp programmes. The successful candidate will have experience in a role producing/cleansing data:
Job Purpose for a Administration Support Assistant
- Categorising a high number of applicants per day within the company's database
- Inputting data quickly and efficiently into the database
- Preparing, organising and storing information in paper and digital form
- Able to spot errors and anomalies in data (essential)
- Have a full understanding of the learner sign up paperwork for specific unemployed contracts (Skills Bootcamps).
- Arrange and conduct learner sign ups, ensuring to send out an email prior to the sign up, requesting the required evidence.
- Liaise with learners to request necessary information.
- Quality check sign up paperwork and ensure they are compliant.
- Create and accurately file learner paperwork both electronically and as hard copies, in line with GDPR and ESF document retention.
- Keep paperwork log up to date to identify any trends in compliant issues.
- Frequently attend short courses to monitor the attendance and contact learners who are missing.
- Produce reports on successes, progressions and withdrawals.
- Answer incoming telephone calls
- Book meetings

- Excellent keyboard/accurate data entry skills
- High level of initiative and motivation
- Analytical and inquisitive mindset
- Data literate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good administration, co-ordination and organisational skills
- High levels of accuracy and detail when completing contractual paperwork
- Competent in using IT systems namely the Microsoft Office Suite
- Be commercially aware and understand contractual requirements and be willing to adjust delivery to ensure requirements are being met
