Job description
Overview of Role:
JPD require an estimator. You will be responsible for the timely production of detailed pricing. This will require the compilation of accurate estimates from mainly first principle methods for multi discipline works, including labour, plant, equipment, materials and sub-contract requirements during tendering and bidding.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be JPD's lead role in undertaking all construction estimates.
- Liaising with directors and updating them on current tenders.
- Tender Submissions to include preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders, prepare subcontract tender enquiries & evaluate subcontract responses.
- Handover for successful tender to delivery team & as part of Project Pre-Start meeting, provide detailed build up to rates and pricing.
- All work to be done through our estimating software EValuate which links through to our project management software Eque2.

- Computer literate with good MS Excel, Word & Project.

- Self-motivated but able to work as part of a team
- Ability to manage self and prioritise, whilst understanding the importance of deadlines.
To have previous experience in this role.
