Job description
Celestion is recognised as a world leader in the design and manufacture of both Guitar and PA loudspeakers to the Professional Audio Industry.
We currently have a vacancy for an R&D Technician.
The role requires the successful candidate to provide a high level of support to a team of professional Engineers engaged in the development of loudspeakers for the music industry.
This will include the procurement of raw materials, fabrication of components, building and testing of prototypes, collating results and providing general assistance to the design staff.
You will preferably be educated to BTEC level 3, have relative Technician experience and be able to demonstrate good hands on practical mechanical skills. However, candidates educated to at least GCSE level with good passes in Maths and Sciences will also be considered and full training provided.
Enthusiasm and an interest in loudspeakers will be as important as previous experience. The candidate must also have the ability to work with minimum supervision.
