We currently have an exciting opportunity for a wide number of Project Managers as part of a new Defence contract on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting role to deliver Projects for the MOD across a wide ranging Property Portfolio, including infrastructure project, Plant Asset renewal HVAC, Chillers, Electrical Switch Gear, Life Safety Systems, CCTV and BMS, Hanger upgrades, MEP projects including ULEV, Demolition, and other facilities management services into the UK Defence Sector

As Project Manager, you’ll will work on a wide range of new projects within the construction sector. You will be working on several projects at any one time dependent upon the scale and complexity of the project.

In this highly varied and interesting role you take the lead of projects such as new roof replacement on a building, building refurbishment of staff accommodation and Maintenance Facilities to full New Building construction and listed Building Works.

Reporting into a Senior Project Manager, you’ll will be responsible for the planning, management, coordination, and financial control of projects, ensuring the appropriate governance is applied. You will be supported by both Commercial and Project PMO.

You’ll ensure the project lifecycle is maintained at all stages and completed on time, within budget and that agreed objectives & KPI’s are achieved.

Experience required

Background in one of the following disciplines:

  • Civil
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Construction Design Management knowledge
  • Building Regulations knowledge

Certifications/Qualifications

  • Temporary Works Coordinator

CSCS MAP test
IOSH Managing Safely
Site Management Safety Training Scheme

Security clearance is required for our sites, successful applicants will be expected to achieve either BPSS or SC clearance as a condition of appointment into the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £50,000.00-£58,000.00 per year
