The Opportunity
We are looking for an entry-level Research Analyst to join our ESS Pennside global team of pharmaceutical and biotechnology consultants. The successful candidate will join a highly energised, friendly, and passionate team of professionals who work in an environment of collaboration and teamwork. The successful candidate will be required to work from our Alderley Park office (SK10 4TG) 2-3 days per week.
The Role
- Conduct-targeted research via internet, internal proprietary databases, and a variety of other data sources in support of projects for the company's clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
- Read and interpret documents such as company reports, marketing materials, organisational charts, and clinical trial information, to effectively prepare concise reports and presentations as part of a team
- Attend and participate in both team and client meetings
- Attend medical conferences to gather and analyse information
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Minimum of an undergraduate BSc degree in science, business administration, marketing, or economics
- Basic knowledge of internet search engines and other research methods
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10 times per year to cover conferences.
