Position:
The Outsourcing Pharma and Biopharma Reporter sites provide a 360-degree view of the pharmaceutical technology market, spanning everything from lifecycle management, ingredients, drug delivery and formulation to regulatory affairs, safety, bioavailability, mergers and acquisitions.
BioPharma-Reporter is the leading online source of news and analysis for the biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing industry, leveraging our digital-first position to bring powerful insights and robust information to help your business succeed.
Outsourcing-Pharma provides a 360-degree view of the pharmaceutical contract services market, spanning everything from preclinical, bulk ingredients, to drug delivery and formulation, contract sales, fill & finish, phase I-II, supply chain, analytical testing, regulatory affairs and data management.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver compelling written and multimedia content across Pharma websites
- Attend relevant trade events and conferences
- Develop content ideas for Pharma brands, such as topics for longer-form features or notable trends
- Contribute a story count of 2-3 articles per day, within established daily publishing deadlines
- Contribute to special editions, online and F2F events
- Occasionally moderate at online and F2F events
- Utilise social media for lead sourcing, content sharing and contact building
- Network at key industry events to build a strong portfolio of editorial contacts and raise profile of Pharma brands
- Maintain record of industry contacts and sources in shared editorial database
- Conduct joint business visits with sales team where appropriate to demonstrate brand unity and clearly define editorial standards
- Collaborate with events, marketing and sales teams on any other projects of potential benefit to Pharma brands within a framework of editorial integrity
Required Skills and Experience:
- Trained business / science / multimedia journalist
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus
- Comfortable with, or willing to learn, multi-media content
- Vibrant networking, communication and interpersonal skills
- Social media savvy
- Highly collaborative
- Imaginative and strong sense of initiative
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of, or willing to learn, Google Docs
- Well organised and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Willing to travel internationally
B2B journalistic experience (NCE-qualified senior reporters will be considered)
