Housing Assistant – Intensive Housing Management
Salary: £25113 rising to £27386 (Pro-rata) after key competencies of the role are met.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: Part time (15 hours per week)
We are currently looking for a professional, motivated, and resilient individual to join our Intensive Housing Management Team.

Within your role as our Housing Assistant - Intensive Housing Management you will:
- Work with tenants to provide an agreed level of practical housing management.
- Identify specific needs of tenants, collaborating with relevant departments to help improve home conditions.
- Have a holistic approach to casework by understanding barriers faced by tenants in relation to non-engagement, physical and mental health issues and when required signposting to relevant agencies.
- Hands on tasks such as demonstrations of practical ways of cleaning, managing waste, dealing with clutter/hoarding, and setting up routines and advice on areas of the property that required decoration.
- Administration tasks including documentation completion, record keeping and referrals. Attending team meetings, referral and case reviews and working closely with the Intensive Housing Management Officer on case assessments and closures.
- Contribute to the writing of articles and case studies.
- Promote the service by attending relevant events.
To be considered for our Housing Assistant - Intensive Housing Management you will need to be able to demonstrate you have:
- Experience of working with vulnerable people in a professional capacity.
- Resilience and professionalism in difficult situations.
- Experience of working in a regulated environment.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience of collaborating with others.
- Good standard of ICT literacy.
Due to the nature of this post any successful candidates will need to undertake a DBS disclosure.
